I'm reading the Beautiful Creatures books. How are you posting pictures? lol
It took me a while to figure out too haha. Find the image you want and left click. Choose "copy image address" just copying the image won't work. Then here on friendrewind find the little insert image button in the comment box and paste the image address in. I also filter on google images to search by size, and click medium. When the pictures are huge it looks a little crazy haha.

Ooh are you liking it so far? I had that on my TBR but honestly wasn't sure if I wanted to read more of his work. Fight club was great, then I tried to read Damned and hated it so much 😅 Maybe I'll have to give him another shot.
@xXMissParamourXx I'm only a few chapters in, I'm reading one every day and it's pretty damn fucked up so far, already more than Fight Club ever was for me. I think it's great so far in that regard. If you wanna try some of his other stuff, there's also his novel Choke as well as An Oral Biography of Buster Casey. I honestly haven't read Choke yet, but my dad did when it came out, and he said it's one of his best.
Yeah I love the horror elements. I just found Damned excruciatingly repetitive and it went nowhere. He tried to write from the perspective of a 13 year old girl and it just did not work for me. If it had been a short story versus a whole ass novel...maybe.
@xXMissParamourXx Haunted is in a format of 'main plot told from unknown first person (again, so far), short story written by one of the characters, main plot'. I think it works really well.
Just started the first Jurassic Park book is seems very interesting, I’m also actively reading the first of the hunger games trilogy. („• ֊ •„)

OOoh yes! I've wanted to read this for a while too. Side note: It blew my mind that the same author also wrote the book "The Sphere" If you haven't seen that movie it's one of my childhood favorites!
i am not reading anything right now because i just finished Five Survive by Holly Jackson, BUT i am figuring out which book to read/reread next! i am thinking of possibly picking up Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie orrr White Fang by Jack London (may need to reread A Call of the Wild first). there is also Art & Gwen are Not in Love by Lex Croucher that i want to reread. tooo many options
@batshybea YO i also read five survive i was a huge holly jackson fan. i read the agggtm trilogy and was gonna read The Disappearance of Rachel Price but it doesnt seem as good as the others. Compared to her trilogy Five Survive was a bit of a let down but ehh. Anyway I was also planning to read murder on the orient express #twins.

I'll admit that the Spanish civil war is kind of a blind-spot in terms of my knowledge of history, so learning about it from one of my favorite authors of military history has been a treat so far.
