i dont mean 'hop up on my tractor' type country so don't write me off! I'm talking Tyler Childers, The

Dead Weather, maybe some Shakey Graves. anyone interested in them or have artists recommendations like them? to me this music is almost folk like and invokes me with an old heavy heart.

hmm i never listened to country music but i think it’s overhated like no way it’s THAT bad

I strongly dislike it but that’s just me

Im a big skynyrd fan is that counts

I keep flirting with country and western around the edges. I do find a few things I like from time to time 😊

Consider me biased, but I have to throw in Taylor Swift! Her roots came from country music!

Harley Quinn

Swift is in no way shape or form no where near close to be being country and doesn't belong being counted in the genre.  @𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫

@♠︎John K Callender♠︎ Hiya! I hope we're not forgetting where her roots originated from seeing as how she started off as a country singer. You certainly don't have to like her, but let's keep the facts factual, okay? Okay ❤️

Harley Quinn

You're talking to a music industry professional okay? Her music has never been country and never will be, it was pop from the start and was the main reason why she was never accepted in the genre and left it.@𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫

@♠︎John K Callender♠︎ Please, let's keep the facts factual! Taylor Swift debuted her self-titled album 10/24/2006 and was issued by Big Machine Records when she was just sixteen years old. Her self-titled debut album up to her Speak Now album are all categorised as country. It wasn't until she decided to release Red and 1989 before she began to play around with pop music.

Whether you like it or not, that's just the way it is. I don't like Nicki Minaj, but I won't sit here and pretend she's not a rapper. Facts are facts 🤧

Harley Quinn

I'm not going to argue with a non industry person who hasn't a clue what they're talking about, facts is she was NEVER from the onset accepted as a country artist so deal with it. Facts are facts.@𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫

@♠︎John K Callender♠︎ All I'm seeing is someone who gave up and is not able to provide any evidence to support their claim... So I'll take that as a win and move on! Hope you have a better day, pookie! And please, by all means, do further research when it comes to music. You might discover a thing or two 🤧

Harley Quinn

@♠︎John K Callender♠︎ Block me as much as you would like, that's not going to change the fact you lost this round. Please do your research before ever trying to step to me.

Feel better 🤧

@Profile Test old head country fans try not to have a reclusive underdog mentality  while all their fav artists were wife beating millionaires impossible challenge

@Profile Test "Feel better 🤧"The original "Guy playing chess" meme : r/TheMatpatEffect

@CJ And I stand on it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Harley Quinn

@𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 im not gonna lie i thought this was the old heads alt, i take back my riff you clocked it

@CJ yeah you ate that Spencer and you know i personally think that img is tough as hell so

Probably a common answer, but as a fan of all kinds of country music (yes, even the newer stuff), I would say the older stuff is the best like Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Neil Young, and Johnny Bond (some real good oldies there!). I haven't listened to the artists you mentioned, I'll definitely have to check them out :3

Classic Country fo me .. Waylon, Merl, Willie, Hank Sr., Hank Jr.

TOWNES VAN ZANDT TOWNES VAN ZANDT.....please....my Fav
