do you prefer to read physical or digital books?

personally i prefer digital... cough im broke and i find the pdfs cough. (｡>﹏<) but it helps me see whether or not i actually like a book before i commit to buying a physical copy! also, it's a lot easier to js pull smth up on your phone/laptop rather than carry a heavy book around. let me know ur thoughts! ( ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ഒ

I prefer physical books! I like being able to hold them rather than a screen, it is less hard on my eyes, and also it is easier to focus on a book rather than my phone with a million other things inside of it! I also love the thrill of buying a new book or just going to look at books in stores, looking at my bookshelf, and reorganising my bookshelf. I spent soo much on books growing up though so I get the appeal of digital reading haha, I stick with op shops for my books now unless I really like or want to read something I cant find there :p

I love my physical books, but during the very brief time I had access to a kindle, I enjoyed it very much. I could get free books from library and load them up, and have, like, 5 books waiting for me in my car.

I'd like to get another e-reader eventually,  give myself a reason to be off my phone longer.

This being said, I have at least 5 different physical books within reach of my bed pretty much at all times. 🤣

I can't afford physical books, though I suppose libraries exsist for a reason. So I just find the digital copies and 'acquire' them online. (⌐■_■)

I fly a lot for work, and sadly books are bit too cumbersome on flights.  I like to read on the plane and when waiting at my gate, so I've resorted to digital books.  It's not preferred but here we are.  I still buy lots of physical books, but generally these are almost always field guides, as print is king for them. 

For me, nothing beats a physical book, though I do also have a Kindle because it's convenient and portable

Physical, I cant read digital books, makes my eyes hurt and make me less focused on reading, since reading on phone you can whenever go do anything else... The thrill of buying or lending a book and then reading it beats anything digital <3 

I'm also broke but I prefer physical lol. I just cannot ever focus when reading from a mobile device and it tires me out very quickly. Although this does mean there's like 5 books I wanna read but can't because I can't ever afford physical copies

I prefer physical when I can because my eyes suck, but I have been enjoying reading stuff off libby lately :)

physical mostly, but some ahem less "normal" or books which i cannot find i read them digital.

Physical books because I generally read books to stop using my phone like to get away from it and if I read digital I probably couldn't stop (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠) but anyways I do prefer physical books but sometimes I read comics on my phone 

Digital. I struggle to read many physical books due to their small fonts. I lose my place all the time. Digital books allow me to either have them read out or make the fonts super big. Plus, auto saves my place. It's also a bit more convenient for textbooks, since I don't have to lug 4-5 heavy books back and forth all the time.

if possible always physical. of course there's stuff that doesn't get printed or that i could never, no matter how hard i tried, get my hands on lol so every other thing i read ends up being digital, but i have a very firm preference for physical books since you can hold them, display them and i personally really love writing, drawing or even coloring the pages sometimes, so it's s plus. pdf readers do not have the option of more creative annotations the way google play books does, but again, in the case of gpb, you'd have to purchase the digital copy or carve and carve until you find a free one with a horrible ai cover or something, and that also falls into the "do i really own what I'm paying for?" conversation. manhwas and other stuff such as fanfics and only in-platform small-time athor books i can do without a physical copy.

I prefer physical books. I find it easier to read books if I have them nearby than having to look them up online. 

I'm thinking of getting a bookshelf so I have them all in one place though instead of piling them on tables.

I just can't read digital books, it's too uncomfortable for me. I'll always favor physical copies.

I prefer physical media always, especially if I am purchasing it with my own money.  However, I love (I am addicted to) audiobooks and borrow them through my local library/libby...so it's kind of a double whammy I guess haha.
