what's a movie everybody seems to love but you hate?

i'll start with Annihilation. i was bored all the way through and what disappointed me the most was the bear, it was not creepy or scary at all. and man i remember going into it so excited thinking that it was a great movie💔

i'll admit that it does have incredible cgi tho

I hate Twilight with my entire being.

I get that it's an ironic love like "haha we all know this is really bad!!" but it irritates me to my very core. Can't stand those movies, genuinely.

Happy feet. It's been a long while since i watched the movie but i do remember hating it when i was a kid. 

Elf.

The way everyone is so mean to Buddy when he's just trying to make sense of the world around him reminds me too much of the way I was treated as a child.  Also, Buddy trying to make sense of the world around him is really annoying.  (To be fair, I've only seen it once, and it was over 20 years ago.)

Obsession

Most horror movies in general really, I find them all either needlessly gross or irritating, or in the case of...Aliens, I guess, just unlikable, but Obsession particularly irritates me

that new odyssey film. it sucks a lot

I'm a huge fan of horror movies, but I'm gonna have to say it's Terrifier 3. Terrifier 1 was a good watch and 2 was still tolerable, but Terrifier 3 almost felt like it only exist for "Here's gore and here's another gore!" purpose 

i don't really hate it but toy story 4, they should've stopped at 3.

Napoleon Dynamite

I couldn't even finish the movie it was like watching paint dry, or molasses coming out of a cup, or walking behind someone who is agonizingly slow. I genuinely hate that movie (I don't even think I laughed).

Fargo. Its so boring

Omg fargo was my answer too. My roomates and I love to watch movies, and we all checked it out on recomendation, and we all hated it. Just the most boring movie of all time

Beetlejuice? Think it's spelled like that. It was simply just boring, i didn't really care for anything that was happening; everyone could have all died and i would have been chill with it because nobody was likeable. Beetlejuice was just kinda annoying, he didn't feel either threatening or funny.

Can't really think of a movie like that except for one and that's Marie Antoinette. The music for it is fucking INCREDIBLE, there are so many sick needle drops that can't make a good story. Characters are thin, they don't talk except when they need to advance the plot and even though it's super great everywhere else, the writing isn't. Same with Winona Ryder's Dracula.

im too tired ti check my letterboxd so heres some i remember of the top of my head: basically all of david lynchs filmography (ive watched only 2 of his movies but i feel like every other one is going to be the same so i wont event bother to check them out), pulp fiction, kill bill, the notebook, la la land

People love Frailty but I thought it was awful, to a frustrating degree.

I don't like Lady Bird. It's in every self-proclaiming feminist Letterboxd top 4. I was actually excited to watch it, but I couldn't finish it.  💔
