People who keep a lot of tabs open, why?

When I say a lot, I mean A LOT. People who keep like 15, 30, even 50 tabs open on their PC, why? I keep wondering about it but I can't just figure out why, what's the benefit? Bookmarks exist, YouTube has a Watch Later list, so what makes the increase power usage worth it?

I just forget to close them tbh

i'm using all of them at once

I've got my tabs organised for each subject and I'm that if I closed any of them ill forget the content or ill need it later and have to find it again

Either for my interests [which I cannot close them or I'll just forget about it a day after] or for no reason because I keep forgetting to close it or it's something important-

I thought I was bad having 5 or 6 open at once but the idea of having 30 open....I fear no man but that thing? It scares me

Cuz all those tabs are being in use yk. like I use them... like spotify, discord. pinterest and yt... and like any extra social media app or wtv. I NEED TO OK. (joke dont take offense)

school put me in the habit of it originally because i just needed so many tabs open for projects, and now it has seeped into my personal creative pursuits. i close all the tabs (documents, research, etc.) related to a specific creative project when i'm done with it, but i usually have multiple projects going at the same time so it gets pretty bad

i open a lot of them so i can check them out later but i eventually forget and have like 20 tabs open until my computer is all slow

i forget to close them ngl

i have a ton of tabs open... most of them r just me saving stuff for later. i have a tab for albums i wanna listen to in full so i dont forget them, a tab for rentry + img hosting sites, a misc tab for things ik i need to save but idk where to put them lol. i also have a few image tabs of stamps + blinkies i plan on adding to my profile but havent gotten to it yet.

im just very forgetful and lowk a hoarder
