Do u guys try 2 live like its the 2000s?

I’m very big into the 2000s (obvi) like the style, music, and just everything abt it!! But does anyone else try to REALLY live like it’s that time, like using the slang, listening to mainly 2000s music and watching mainly 2000s movies & shows? I also try to collect a lot of physical media and I try to stay off of newer social medias and I only really use YouTube, friendrewind, spacehey, and tumblr bc it rlly makes me feel more like I’m in the 2000s. Basically what I’m trying to say is does anyone else do this, and if so do you have any other recs to make it feel more like the 2000s?

i do but unconiously .... i personally feel like everything from the 2000s was better ESPECIALLY the media. it has warped my perception of time a bit and made me forget its 2026 because im so engulfed within the 2000s,..

some things i could recommend are only listening to music on your ipod or through cds, only watchingg ytbers from the late 2000s early 2010s so your feed becomes ONLY that (OORRRR use kamtape.... its been one of my obsessions lately I think its so cool. its a late 2000s youtube revival website!!! https://www.kamtape.com/) and ofc i dont think you do based of what you wrote but also just not using more modern apps like tiktok.,

ALSOALSO ntm when you only watch things from the 2000s the slang becomes natural in your brain so you dont really think about using it deliberately, aswell as it stops you from really using newer slang because you jst arent aware OF new slang ..

MAIINNNLY USING YOUR LAPTOP RATHER THAN YOUR PHONE aswell as making the main tech you use older tech!! tbf im broke asl so this has always been easy for me.... but if you have more modern tech and you can downgrade YOU SHOULD!
