What is the worst social media you've been in?

It isn't that known in terms of bad social media like Amino but the staff of Project Z were probably one of the laziest and most negligent people ruling an app ever. But not even Project Z/Clover.Space would be that bad as their next project: OluOlu

That app is genuinely so bad, everything is so slow, glitches are everywhere and it's completely unmoderated. Not even Amino on his worst days was that bad. What is the worst social media you've been in?

Honestly for-profit social platforms seem to age like milk, so I miss the ones that died along the way (I met the closest people to me on PlayStation Home and Amino) and think the worst are the ones that still exist, as they only exist based on falsified data, data collection, and/or addiction to rage, envy, and dopamine (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, TikTok, Snapchat). And any platform that copies twitter is almost always swarmed by political activists making the platform unusable for open discussion.

Facebook. I didn't get into it until 2013-2014 or so because some local bands/venues that I like post their gigs there & because I wanted to keep in touch with a former friend's parent.

I stopped posting anything of my own on there around 2019 because the people from my high school that kept adding me are all absolutely brainrotted. Like wdym you're still the lying gossip you were 20 years ago when I stopped talking to you the first time, absolutely no thanks.

I do still keep a couple bands & venues added & check every couple weeks to see if anything new is going on but I don't post or scroll through, I just see if anyone has an event tagged.

@karol_teh_alien spacehey is not available for me where I live. I guess I may have been spared lol I am loving  friend rewind. Such a nice blast from the past and a neat chance to engage with cool a$$ people. :)

I honestly HATE Twitter and Instagram. I only redownloaded Instagram so I could easily talk with my tattoo artist lol 

They all suck honestly, but Facebook is the worst in that it is so interwoven with the way we live our lives. I guess it's a good resource for finding out about events in your community or things to buy on marketplace, but the manner in which it goes out of its way to shove controversial discussions down your throat is very off-putting.

instagram at times tbh =w= there's so many ai-bros and just insufferable people in the name of 'ragebait'

the second anything goes outside of your intended circle you just have mean people hating for no reason
