An anime I don't see a lot of people recommending or talking about these days is A Place Further Than the Universe. I think it's genuinely one of the best depictions of what it's like to be a teenage girl and the myriad of issues that come with that period of your life- from the directionless need for independence and an concrete identity, to social isolation, to the complicated and often treacherous social games played by teenagers- the series manages to explore all these themes alongside even heavier topics such as grief with an almost fantastical premise that only proves to heighten in importance of the mundane issues of teenagers.
i would say kiznaiver is definitely an underrated anime but it's so freaking good. for those who haven't seen this anime before go watch it!! i really enjoyed this one and the intro slaps
Mob Psycho 100, I would love for more seasons, they didn't make the same mistake as OPM of having the titular protagonist as an extra in his own anime.
zankyou no terror!!

FLCL already got named so I'll toss Eden of the East in the mix. I have yet to meet anyone who remembers this show and I still think it's pretty rad, very unique idea, very cool execution

🎃✌️Iroduku and Noragami will be forever in my heart
boogiepop phantom... it's based off of a light novel series
I've never read any of the novels and only watched the anime sequel... Though it doesn't explain everything about the plot, even after finishing watching it will leave you with so many confusion and questions.
Though from what I have heard..It's not really an adaptation, but like I said, a sequel, since the plot that's provided in the anime is not canon to the novel series.
But it's really good, especially with how it works with the horror aspects..The sound design is amazing... And I could say the same for animation too as it's also just as good.
It only has 12 episodes, but it's absolutely worth watching.
pani poni dash and galaxy angel are the two funniest and cutest animes but ive only heard like a handful of people talk about them
