I really feel like life was better before modern phones.
Sure, maybe we didn't have everything at our fingertips like we do now with just one device...
But man, life was so much better back then.
And with the way the world is now, I feel like it's eating up our time so much, and I also find it really boring. Normally next month I'm FINALLY getting one, I can't wait!

I have the HMD Barbie phone and I love it! It was made as promotion for the Barbie movie so it's a bit newer and should work for most people. There are two versions however, US and International so you need to research which one will work for you.
It's so cute and the mirror on the front is actually really handy. It comes with multiple backs you can switch out, a matching pink charger, a lanyard, jewels, and stickers. When you turn on the phone it says "Hi Barbie!" just like the movie. I was able to just put my existing Verizon SIM card into it and it worked immediately, I didn't need to go to the store or let them know. For some reason the official website doesn't have an order link but you can still order the official phone on amazon. It's $100. Cheaper than a lot of these fancy new models. If anyone is interested in the dumphone life there is a lot of information on r/dumbphone!
@xXMissParamourXx before I figured out how to turn my smartphone into a rotary phone, this was what I was going to get. Like, I was two paychecks away from getting it, when I just took off down another path.
I still think about it, though.

i would love to buy an older phone but i live in the us meaning all non 4g phones no longer work. and modern flip phones just dont hit like the old ones.
@NateA I found an old Nokia in a box, excellent condition, and I was so bummed to find out that it won't work in the US anymore. Such a waste of a great phone.
my favorite kind of smartphone are the ones with the slide-out keyboards! or anything BlackBerry, haha. good examples of these are the T-Mobile Sidekick or the BlackBerry 8800.
I love my flip-phone, it's very dumb and I get away from social media... Unfortunately, my mom hates me and wants me addicted to social media because she wants to burn the phone and make me use my smartphone all the time just because I don't have whatsapp, even though I literally have whatsapp on my computer T_T

It's not rlly used for calling or texting it's more like a media player for when internet is crap, but it's still good.
also I had an old ass iphone lying around my room and I'm planning on getting it repaired and making it MINE!!!
