when i was a teen, my mom made me sleep in her room with her because she said she heard whispering and didn't want to be alone.
when i was in bed with her, she went to sleep facing the wall so i faced the room and directly across the room from me was the closet with a small bracket shape, no deep walls so if someone stood in there they wouldn't have anywhere to go.
after awhile i saw some white person-shaped thing come out from the wall, grab onto the closet entrance and go back in even though it wasn't possible. i really tried to stick it out for my mom but i got too scared after a few minutes and ran out crying
I remember when I was about 9, we went to this place called the macadamia castle. Half of it was a zoo I believe and the other half had a ton of nuts, including of course macadamia nuts. It was pretty empty when we were there and so my father looked around as my mother and I went to the restroom. As I used the empty bathroom I zoned out until I heard some muffled whispering, it happened twice but neither my mother nor I said a single thing. Until I heard the muffling getting clearer and it was saying my name. You bet ya sweet ass I finished and RAN out of there. Maybe it was just some stupid prank but my mother heard it too. I have had many many other unexplainable and/or paranormal experiences too.
@Naynoro I would dead azz be running so fast that I would split in two 😲
I remember a few years ago, me, my siblings and grandma were sleeping in the same room cause we were having a movie night. Anyway, eventually, we decided to go to bed and the tv gets turned off, but it comes back on. We figure someone’s just on the remote, so the tv gets turned off again and we place the remote on the side table. Long story short, the tv kept coming on by itself for a while. We ended up having to take out the batteries and unplug the tv cause it just won’t stay off. Probs not entirely paranormal- but def spooky for us when it happened.
I feel like I’ve been pretty in touch with the paranormal since I was a kid. Every house I lived in had some kind of energy to it, especially when I was home alone. Things falling over without explanation, seeing things, hearing things, feeling as if someone was watching me, thinking I heard my mother call my name more times than I can count. But, I suppose that can be marked down as being paranoid.
Though,, my mother told me I had a dream when I was around 2 or 3 about my great grandpa whom unfortunately passed before I could ever meet him; I woke up and pointed to a portrait of his on the wall saying he was showing me his birds. And, ever since then, I’ve always wanted a bird ++ associated him with birds lol.
I’ve also had a dream about a dog I had when I was real young that passed, he chased me in his ghost-like form the whole time. Saw my chinchilla, Midoriya, whom passed the night before, run across the living room when I was home alone. Had a hair dryer randomly fall and turn on by itself despite being unplugged, I believe. Experienced what I think was sleep paralysis, which I’m actually not sure if it’s considered ‘paranormal’, but whatever; I personally think it is. I could probably go on and on.

One time in the bathroom, I heard something akin to a hard stomp sound behind a wall that contained the master bathroom. I went to investigate and nothing had fell...
I also had another incident where one night I was sleeping sideways facing the wall and had a night light behind me. I was awake and I suddenly saw this formless see-through shadow appear against the wall I was looking at, twitching ever so slightly. It freaked me the fuck out and I laid still until it went away. I went to investigate the light and nothing was there, and I KNOW no damn roach produces a shadow like that.
idk this is probably the most nothing-burger thing, but one time I went into an antique shop that was sectioned into rooms and one of the rooms had the most FOUL energy. as a joke I said something like "lol are there any ghosts in here?" and istg I got the WORST sinking, anxiety feeling ever. it literally felt like i was being sat on!! I must've angered the spirits in there or something ToT. But I've never felt anything like it before that or since...
one time when i was like 12 i heard a scream coming from my head, like no discernible direction at all..
everyone was sleeping so i woke up everyone in the house asking & also lived in the woods with no neighbors
ive never had auditory hallucinations or anything, so i still have no idea what happened and it still spooks me out

@euoni Don't be too freaked out, I've had stuff like that happen twice in my life. One time I was a teenager, and had friends sleeping over, I went to go to sleep really late and as I was falling asleep I HEARD (externally) a PERFECT rendition of a comedic explosion sound effect. I thinkkkkkk it was the explosion sound effect from Ty the Tasmanian tiger video game lol Regardless it was obviously a FAKE explosion that sounded like it came from outside my head. Only happened one other time in my life and I don't remember what the other sound was, I think it was my aunt calling my name but I don't remember?

^This is very similar to what I heard but not exact lol
Oh also! I should add one time I woke up reaching for my gun from hearing an ear piercing little girl scream. Turns out that it was a garbage trucks brakes, it sounded EXACTLY like a girl's INTENSE blood curdling scream. :P
ok, this is very funny but strange story, kind of sounds more like a dream when im putting it down. but this was when i was awake i assure
when i was like.. say 10..? very young , but was sleeping in the living room, i didnt do that much , usually slept in my bed. but then.. i woke up to very distant katy perry’s “firework” song , i was living in a very empty area at the time . wasnt even fourth of july anywhere or anything . also didnt live in area where that song was popular , and didnt even know the song at the time . only figured out the song when i heard it on the internet a while later. but to add onto that i then.. heard people arguing in my basement ? accompanied by the katy perry? didnt sound like my family either. but when i approach the basement.. katy perry and the people arguing stopped… very scary…. atleast i found out i liked katy perry (^_^;)
this might actually mean something, at least in vietnam. we have like a lot of superstitions and religious beliefs, for example stuff related to entrances of your home, the direction you sleep in and whatnot. one time when i was 17-18 or something my ma patched up this part of the wall so you can sleep on that side. we sleep on the floor btw. that patched side is opposite my side that i always sleep on. so when you lie down your head is pointing at a certain direction, right. if i’m not mistaken then i sleep on the northwest side, and that patched side is on the southeast. at first i thought nothing of it and was like “sure let’s sleep on that side” because it looked comfortable. then for some reason every time i slept there, i would always see gory imagery and figures staring right back at me in my dreams. i’d also have sleep paralysis. as you can tell it was not fun and i had to switch back to my usual side. when i did, i wouldn’t get as many nightmares as before. there were little to none. it was almost as if it was a guarantee that i’d see bad things when i slept on that side. i told my ma about it and i don’t recall her explaining why that happened. according to some superstitions, perhaps it depends on the person, maybe their energy doesn’t align with a specific thing (like layout of their home, a certain color or number), so bad things end up happening to them when they come into contact with it.
