(((hugs))) I've only just started hearing that, honestly. Like last day or three. It is old school myspace and chat room style for hugging someone, but damn ... If that's changed, Imma start using something else toot sweet! by Cranky Old Witch; ; Report Disregard whatever comment that was, they're not even on my friend's list and I've blocked them. I very much appreciate the virtual hug and the post it was related to. I swear, people go out of their way to find negative meaning in everything. If that's how they want to live life, then they need to stay the hell away from me. There's no official protocol on how to use parentheses. Lulz. by Bill Liam East; ; Report Nah, Bill. I looked into it before replying that they're right. White supremacist groups have been using it for sometime as a text version of an 'echo'. I'll let you look into it yourself, but I'll be using something different going forward! Perhaps like this: ***hugs*** (that's another hug for you!😊) by Cranky Old Witch; ; Report I get that. But the context was important, which they clearly missed. 🤭 Plus, that was a trend like a while ago, wasn't it? by Bill Liam East; ; Report I dunno, and I think the commentator understood I was using it innocently and was trying to caution me. I might have discounted it, except it was the second or third such caution I received recently, so I'm reassessing that one! If neo nazis have coopted it, that sucks and all, but I'm certainly not going to keep using it! by Cranky Old Witch; ; Report |

(edited) Report Hey, Bill! Thanks for the friend request. I'm actually thinking about watching Tales from the Crypt later today. |

oop i think my comment got eaten so sorry if it posts twice. thanks for the add! what's your favorite trek? i have been meaning to start strange new worlds once i get the time. Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Discovery 1&2 only, and Strange New Worlds. I've seen all of them, SNW is definitely worth the watch. It takes place right after the events of DIS S2, and is more like a modern version of TOS. by Bill Liam East; ; Report |
