I have a perssistant obsession with researching, listing and organising bits and pieces of information. I know all there is to know about cats (especially cats) and their variations. The werewolf cat is an interesting looking cat. Thank you for leaving a picture of this cat on my profile.

I like all cats whether they are strange and unusual looking or not, but, I have a weird adoration for "ugly" cats/animals. Especially really small and skinny chihuahuas that have their eyes bulging from their heads.

I've recently had a growing interest in English bulldogs because they're very lazy and I find that cute and I suppose in addition to that they look big, dumb, and dopey. I had the chance of meeting one on a trip to the Philippines while meeting my husband's aunt and he was so cute and sweet (unlike a pug I know, he's literally the spawn of satan).

I will proceed to further list animals I like. Sphynx cats kind of look like naked mole rats, mole rats have these scrunched up faces and they have yellow teeth which I also like? rats because most people don't like them and don't understand that they're actually very sweet and affectionate; the same reason I like raccoons and possums because they are treated as vermin by humans and dealt with as such. 

Pigeons are a favourite animal of mine because of their very sweet nature and did you know Dove's are mostly monogamous and can form long-term bonds for years usually mating for life? 

Actually, speaking of Pigeons I saw a pair nesting yesterday and could hear their chicklings squeak. It made me happy. 

Memory alert. There was this one occasion I had saw a Pigeon who was sat on a bench, it was late, like, 8pm, dark too and the little guy wouldn't fly away. Pigeons where I live usually fly away when humans approach them. Although they are semi-domesticated <--Fact Alert-->from the world wars of the early 1900s. So this one Pigeon wouldn't fly away no matter how close we got to it. I keep remembering his soft kind-natured eyes and didn't want to leave him alone.

 It got to the point he did eventually fly away but I was stood in the cold for like two hours hoping he'd just leave because I was worried he was hurt or injured in some way or perhaps somebody who wasn't as kind as me would hurt him if he was overly trusting of them. 

I have a thing for stray cats too and actually me and my husband came across a group of strays; I believe there was a mother and her kittens (about 3 kittens) in a car wash with the gate locked and a sturdy fence blocking anybody who may get the thought to climb the fence (That would be me and my thought). I fed them my husbands pork cracklings (lol), and they seemed pretty hungry. 

I went back but couldn't find them. I'm not sure if the owners feed them and keep them locked in for safety since the car park is near a main road or something more nefarious is at play. 

Anyways I'm rambling now. It feeels soooo good to write and not to scroll through an algorithm I outsource my thinking and attention to and it feels great to actually speak to human beings. 

It gets very lonely sometimes so thank you so much for picking my profile to leave a comment on and thank you for taking the time to read my profile :)

Your response is absolutely adorable. I too research various animals and write down all the interesting things about them. I covered cat breeds and then goat type animals with horns. The Markhor is my favorite. That's cute the story about the pigeon. You have a beautiful heart. Check out the IG page @wheresgizzie He's a little white chihuahua with pop out eyes and he's so cute. Also, Pilaf Demi Moore's little dog is adorable too.

 There's a TikTok page called Minimunchkins (I only view the page on my husbands account since I try to avoid TikTok) and they're extremely strange looking and cute; there's a hairless eye bulging chihuahua who is really angry and becomes tiredlessly annoyed with the other dogs, a frenchie shar pei mix, bichon and a parrot. 

Do you have a top 5 list of your favourite animals? 

I don't use TikTok and won't even open it to see things. I avoid those apps. 

As for my top three favorite animals

1) bats

2) nudibranchs

3) cats

4) Narwhals

5) sugargliders

TikTok can be useful but I've found it has more negatives than positives for me and I've decided I'd rather learn through books, classes, through community, through discourse and debate and seeing people face to face rather than online. There's something that is empty and fleeting when you try to parody these things online; transforming 3rd spaces into online caricatures as a replacement for the real world. I've become groaningly tired of influencers and the apps themselves are too addictive, the comments are botted, the views are botted, A.I being a thing means you can no longer tell who is real and who isn't, people are more narcissistic and the incentive for everything to be monetised took away authentic people posting replaced with people trying to make a quick buck and whom will do anything to deceive their audience for that quick buck. And then you have the echo chambers and mass political radicalisation, the literacy crisis, parroting talking points. I've found it all so tiring and I've found peace without these things in my life. 

As for my top three favourite animals

1) cats

2) capybaras

3) rats

That's nice that you realized how pointless and dead those types of apps can be. Yes, it's hard to find a real person to connect with when there's trends, products, and services pushing things that don't benefit an individual's growth. Books are my go-to. I love escaping inside another world. Also, love your list of animals. I'm a big fan of rats myself. I hate that they get so much hate.
