I love your page, it's so neat! When did you first get into Persona? I haven't played it before but really want to...

thank you so much :Di got into persona in early-mid 2025, was introduced after finding fanarts of ren and akechi together. i gradually started researching more and found out there are multiple persona games XDeach game tells a different story, though persona 2 innocent sin and persona 2 eternal punishment are two different games but are summed up into one continuous plot [in persona 2 you can also find a character called maki that is originally from megami ibunroku persona/persona 1]. if you want to start from the very beginning, i'd say try playing THE persona [sometimes comically reffered to as persona 1]. there were 2 versions of the game - megami ibunroku persona and persona revelations; characters and story are the same, but in persona revelations the main character, as well as some background characters, differ in designs a bit [mc has really pale skin and brownish red hair and a bg character mark becomes black], as well as the map being different [i'd say megami ibunroku persona has a way more appealing map than persona revelations... but you do you]. both versions were made for playstation 1 and psp respectively. persona 2 innocent sin and persona 2 eternal punishment were made for playstation 1 and psp, but it doesn't matter what console you're using since the experience and stories do not differ. both can be played on playstation vita and playstation 3 via an online backwards-compatible feature. persona 3 was made for playstation 2. some time later persona 3 fes and persona 3 portable were introduced. p3fes had one new character [might have been more but dont quote me on that], a 30 hour post-game epilogue called "episode aigis" [which tells more about the bg character called aigis respectivelly], more personas, aswell as weapon fusions added to the game. p3p was made for playstation portable and had a second mc introduced [female version of the mc]. the plot is pretty much the same but you have alternative romance options, and you gain less money off of the jobs you're going to compared to the original mc. in 202X persona 3 had a new game made called persona 3 reload - with way more better graphics - available on ps4 and ps5. persona 3 and persona 3 fes did not have physical discs for ps3, but if you had a ps3 with a backwards-compatible feature, you were able to play them online.persona 4 was made for ps2 and ps3, and later on persona 4 golden was introduced for ps vita and in a few years added to ps4. p4g had an extra month, a new social link and expanded character scenes added to the game. persona 5 is the last game in the series [as of now]. persona 5 royal [sometimes called persona 5 royale] is an expended version of the og persona 5; it adds a massive amount of new content, including an extra playable semester, new characters and dungeons. some time later persona 5 the phantom x was introduced, and it is the only game out of modern persona games that is free to download. basically it's a gacha version of persona 5.p3p, p4g and p5r are available online on PC via Steam. i bought 3 of them back in 2025 in a multi-pack. persona 5 the phantom x is available on Steam for free. some are available for nintendo switch, nintendo switch 2 and xbox.if you want to play any persona game you have 2 options:1 - use an emulator or multiple emulators [depending on the version you wanna play]. recommended if you're broke or don't feel like buying an entire console just for one or two games.2 - buy physical discs and console[s] if you really want to OWN the games and not be scared that at any moment you might lose access to games. this option is for the rich ppl fr.i cant say i recommend one game over another, i personally find all of them appealing!SORRY IF THIS WAS TOO MUCH INFO i'm just really happy someone else is also interested in persona.

yes no problem it was so fun explaining everything in detail!!! but i did forget to mention there also rhythm persona games and a pure fighting game! - Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight, Persona 4 Dancing All Night, Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight ; Persona 4 Arena and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax

there are also 2 persona games for nintendo 3ds which are PersonaQ [it's 12th anniversary was yesterday [june 5]!] and PersonaQ2 [pq2 has p5 main cast added] and another persona 5 game which is persona 5 tactica but ive never looked into that one so you might need to do some research.
