Though I primarily test out as ISTJ, I'm one of those rare individuals who fluctuates between ISTJ and ISFJ. I suppose there's always been a little bit of a contest between my head and my heart. Interestingly, those who have gotten to know me tend to be surprised at the "I" part. Apparently, if I am comfortable with you, I tend to come across as a little more outgoing. That being said, I have come to the conclusion that these things change over time depending upon the stage of life one is in at the time. Politically, I am a left leaning liberal. I am an advocate for civil rights and equal opportinities regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion. I support reproductive rights including access to abortion and contraception. Finally, I am an ally to the LGBTQIA community and as such support marriage equality and anti-discrimination protections. 

When I was in my teens, I was quite partial to anything that could be classified as album rock: Aerosmith (my favorite), Foreigner, Rush, Van Halen, Rolling Stones, The Who, etc. Though I was already in my college years in the first half of the 1980's decade, over the years, I have become quite partial to 80's music - at least that's what I find myself tuning to on Sirus XM more often than not when I need break from news/talk radio.

I haven't gotten a chance to see many movies lately. Some time ago, when I lived in Florida, I belonged to a movie meetup group. I certainly enoyed the larger than life spectacle of all the Marvel and DC universe movies. Mostly though, I tend to gravitate towards dramas that tell a good story or romantic comedies. The one genre I'm not too keen is horror unless it's more tounge-in-cheek and humorous than it is gory. Even though it's already several years old, one of my most favorite movies is Bohemian Rhapsody mostly because Rami Malek didn't just play Freddy Mercury - he channeled Freddy Mercury.

I don't watch too much TV. As far as that goes, I used to watch a sitcom or two on Thursday nights particularly when The Big Bang Theory was on and led into something half way decent. Right now, the only thing I watch is Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage just to see how they follow the story arc from The Big Bang Theory. I am looking forward to seeing Stuart Fails to Save the Universe when it premiers on HBO Max this coming July. Other than that I have spent some time streaming different television series' that for one reason or anonther I had not seen in their original run. Some examples of those are The West Wing, Boardwalk Empire, Succession, and Silicon Valley.

Mostly, politically oriented non-fiction books, though I am backed up on a few of those as I am having trouble finding the motivation to sit down and read them. Other than that, I like to read biographies or autobiographies of my favorite movie or televsision actors. I'm trying to discipline myself in a way by not permitting myself to read the entertainment books until I've finished reading the politically oriented books. Sometimes, I think my sister has the right idea by listening to books on audible.
