i'm addicted, i recently learned the basic stuff from my aunt on vacation. and then since i was home, i just watched a few videos and i think i'm doing pretty well :) im trying to make a mini blanket for one of my stuffies, and i can just crochet for hours on end (which i've been doing instead of doomscrolling) while listening to class of 09.
fuck it i don't even need to listen to music or a podcast i do it at night when i cant sleep

I love that you replaced doomscrolling with crocheting. It feels so much more rewarding to spend a few hours making something with your own hands instead of accidentally losing three hours watching random videos.
Also, making a tiny blanket for one of your plushies is ridiculously cute. There's something so satisfying about seeing a project slowly come together stitch by stitch.
I swear crocheting seems like one of those hobbies where you start by thinking, "I'll just make a little blanket," and a few months later your entire room is full of handmade hats, scarves, little frogs, and emotional support bees.
