I was outside working today, and it hit me just how autumnal it is! Chilly and sunny, and the leaves on the shagbark hickories were already yellow. On my drive home, I passed a corn maze, and the local apple orchards were open with fruit all over the ground. I guess it's because I spent most of september in southern states, but I'm just realizing now that Fall is here!! How time flies! It makes me feel melancholy!
