as an avid reader, for me, this question can change daily. I am an english teacher so i also read a lot of random things. Everything from romance, fantasy, crime, classics, YA, horror, you name it.

The book in my hands today is a little embarrassing, so i dont know why im not lying about it or choosing to start this topic a different day. but i am a woman of truth so here it is.

I am currently reading psycho fae by jasmine mas. it is book two in the psycho shifterverse trilogy. Now why i picked this trilogy up i dont know. but the writing is very comedic and the story almost like those soap operas that you cant look away from. so far it is fun and light

i did just finish Maroons by Louis Timagène Houat just before this. my reading style is all over the place XD

i'm reading American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis! i started reading it in may but then exam season happened and i barely had time to read so i'm still barely half-way through TT

now that i have time i want to read more. before this i was reading the Hannibal books, i stopped after The Silence of The Lambs though to start American Psycho so the next book i'm planning to read is Hannibal by Thomas Harris!

I am currently reading Southernmost by Silas House which is a fictional stroy about a preacher that gives shelter to a gay couple after a flood, leading to a crisis of faith etc etc... It's really good so far.

currently i'm reading the queen of the damned by anne rice! i'm a slow reader but i'm super invested in the vampire chronicles, and i plan to read up to at least the vampire armand or blood and gold. cause i know anne's writing and story telling gets a little wonky later on xD

Toilet Bound Hanako Kun >:D

Harley Quinn

I am more of an audiobook person due to my chronic migraines but I am obsessed with thrillers, memoirs, you name it! I’ve been currently listening to Sociopath by Patric Gagne, The Man Who Died Seven Died by Yasuhiko Nishizawa, Burn the Negative by Josh Winning and I am waiting for The Unknown by Riley Sager!!

uhh ive been reading the pink fairy book and the original illustrated sherlock holmes (which i'm not doing good at understanding)

Right now, Heart of Darkness. I just finished the original Brothers Grimm Fairytales, which was very veery cool to finally get around to!

I'm reading 3 books right now because I don't believe in one book at a time propaganda BUT I finished two other books this week and now I am reading 'The Idiot', 'Phantom of the Opera' and 'Project Hail Mary'!!!! :)

I just finished reading Saint Young Men 3 and am going to start The Moon Glow Bookshop by Dongwon Seo!

Fi by Alexander Fuller .. very descriptive memoir

John Katzenbach's "The Psychoanalyst". It's good so far.

 YOUR COMPUTER HAS BEEN HACKED!

Shogun by James Clavell

It's like game of thrones but in feudal Japan... and with imported gunpowder and cannons from the Europeans instead of dragons

I'm re-reading Project Hail Mary. I finished it two weeks ago in like 5 days, but i loved it so much i'm reading it again

i'm currently reading Les Misérables, it feels like a history lesson sometimes lolool

reading the phantom of the opera (aka the book turned broadway musical of all time)

i am currently making my way through Behind the Horror: True Stories that Inspired Horror Movies by Dr Lee Mellor! it is my one of two non-fic books and i loved reading it the first time despite the fact that it creeped me out a bit haha

I want to believe

when it comes to fiction my usual bets are on manga and such BUT... when going thru the thrift stores ill browse the book section for anything surrounding psychology or anything i can apply to my day to day life. right now im reading "the idle parent" by tom hodgkinson! my mom found it funny cuz i never plan to have kids, but it helps understanding how to approach children or handle my anxiety with them.

It was you who led the world to its destruction.
But you cannot accept it.
You think you are above consequences.

Currently reading Black cat by Edgar Allan Poe, not used to the prose but they do flow nicely. The only reason I started reading it is because my mom couldn’t get through the first chapter, it was too violent for her. So I’m reading it for her instead.

currently i'm reading the poetry collection titled "The collected poetry of Nikki Giovanni"! so far, it's been a pretty nice read with a variety of poetry that are retrospective and introspective in a grounding way - easy to read, but still thought-provoking to be engaging and evokes emotion. i'm not even close to finishing it, though ^^'
