Do you prefer listening to music Digitally or Physically?

I tend to go back and fourth. I have a cassette player, record player and CD player that I use for all my physical media.

I do the same thing, just back and forth on my phone iPod, or iPad. I love it all 

i wish i had a record or a cd player (i have a few cds and vinyls sitting around at my place but no way of listening to them) but aside from being too poor, im still too attached to my last fm account, so digitally it is

I have a Vinyl player, a CD player, and an MP3 player but I also have a VHS player. I mainly use physical if I have a choice, but sometimes I don't wanna lug around a Boombox, so id say 80%  physical 20 percent digital for using my mp3 player in the car, But thats only when I get bored of CD's

Either or, really, but specifically I've ripped flacs from CDs and put them on my computer and Sansa player, just to free myself from the algorithm.

I like hopping between CDs and streaming. I think streaming makes it way easier to bring music everywhere and discover some new things, but personally CDs are better for listening in my house on my own. I think it makes more of a connection between the art and the listener.

Both, I switch between CDs, MP3 player, phone, and computer.

100% digital today.  click, bang, listening. before 2002, I owned 11,000 vinyl records and a few thousand CDs. not much fun to move from house to house. I have better versions on my hard drives now along with all the records I wanted and couldn't find. if I loaded it all into the playlist and started it now, I'd surely be dead before it reaches the half way point.

If i had a cd player I would definitely listen to all my cds a lot but I dont😢 I guess i like both tho,,, digitally is rlly easy and also its extremely hard to find cool cheap cds unfortunatelyy

Digitally via FLAC out of pure convenience. 

A little bit of both to be honest! I own most of my music on CD but I tend to rip it onto an MP3 player. I've tried to distance myself from spotify as much as i can, and charity shops are super good for cds.

If I'm outside using my phone is more convenient, otherwise CD and vinyl all the way

depends on whether or not i'm lazy, to be honest (#｀ε´# )ゞ if i wanna hear something and know i got a vinyl for it, i'll put it on my record player more often than not. otherwise, apple music or youtube lmfao

If I had a physical music collection, I strongly believe that I’d listen to physical music way more- like if I had the option, I don’t think I’d use my phone as much for my music 

I'm a big fan of physical media. I love buying CDs and vinyl records, but often, for convenience or flexibility, I listen to music on my phone!!

Primarily digitally, just out of convenience. I would like to collect CDs one day, I even have a portable CD player, but CDs have always been either inconvenient to get or expensive for me, and I'd rather put on a playlist or a queue than listen to a whole album in one sitting and skip the songs I'm not in the mood for.

I was a hold out on digital, buying CDs until 2023 but now I'm all digital. I pay like $10 per month for Amazon Music Unlimited and it allows me to check out so many artists I've slept on for decades.

I think Amazon Music Unlimited is normally $12 per month, but I was considering cancelling it one time and they offered it to me for just $10 but it removed my access to E-books which I didn't even know I had access anyway.

But I never use bluetooth for audio, I hate the sound quality. Wired connection from computer to stereo. In my car I have a USB stick with several hundred albums plugged into the car. I could connect a phone to the car with a headphone cable which is also far superior to bluetooth, but I just use the usb stick so I don't have to mess with the phone at all.

I grew up on vinyl and cassettes (and remember 8-tracks, owned a few of those two).

On the plus side - with digital - so much music is so available from so many artists, genres, styles, arrangements, cultures, and centuries, that it is positively astounding.

Plus, I don't have to pay a dime, it's all available on several different platforms that I can choose what to support.

Please it doesn't take up the physical space nor require the maintenance.

Plus it's much more transportable than ever before.

On the downside of the all-digital age, NOTHING was like the packaging and presentation of vinyl LPs. Gatefold covers full of artwork, Lyrics, pictures, posters, extras, all in a fun physical medium that you could engage in along with the music. 

Also, the era of the album (1960s-2000s?) made albums the 'go-to' purchase for an artistic vision. I know this still exists in a way, but not like it was. 

Lastly, on the downside, you don't properly 'own' music anymore, unless you've managed to download all of your files to an off-web device where no one can touch them. 

All in all, it's the availability I love most of the digital age, and the entire album 'presentation' I miss most from the pre-digital age. 

If i'm at home? I play vinyls. There's a certain physicality to it that can't be replaced.

On the go or exercising, though? I throw stuff up on Spotify. I wanna snag one of those MP3 players from SnowSky though, they seem fun

Digital music. It's easier to find artists. I listen through YouTube music app. I have my phone go through a Bluetooth speaker. Easy peasy
