i have so many but i'll share a few--

xen was my first ever d&d character, he means so much to me. i went a little wild with my backstory writing so the dm used my interpretation of an underworld and its ruler as the main villain. but the ruler of that underworld was also xen's patron. eventually xen had to give up something and he had this coin that was supposed to help his mother's ghost cross over. he had kept it all this time in his grief and in giving it up, he summoned a time god that had been dormant??? he got his patron switched over so the party could finally trust him !!

patch, my silly little freak. my killer clown. my bard. he was for halloween, so i made him real horror based. he was supposed to be beheaded for mocking the king so heavily. but he's a jester, he's gonna jest. he tricked his way out and ran off, he was such a menace.

not d&d related, but adonis is for a horror-romantasy i was writing forever ago. adonis clemente. the vampire that finds a human trapped in a cult and falls in love with them. a processing of isolation due to being queer in a highly religious town. the human finds comfort in the vampire being separate from human ideologies, the vampire finds comfort in the human not demonizing him. they are so sweet to him

I made her for my first Vampire the Masquerade campaign! She's clan Toreador and is currently 27 years old, she died at 23. Her ambition is to find the "ultimate muse" and "ultimate beauty", if she cannot find those things she will make them. Her predator type is pursuer, meaning she likes to get to stalk get to know her victims first. She's a 12th generation vamp.

She's also in a cult. The Nephilim/Children of the Angel. They are devoted to the Dream of Constantinople created by Toreador methuselah Michael. Their whole thing is creating a society in which there is beauty in all things. They're hedonists, basically. So she was in this, and was granted extra beauty for it although she was already pretty. Our coterie used this to our advantage because she was the only girl on the team and had that kinda damsel in distress thing going on (she is a talker, not a fighter). She managed to convince a priest to join HER cult and set up a tabernacle (what their churches are called) in his own. Cool!

The other two members were a grizzled 50 year old divorced dad who just wanted to have a healthy bond with his daughter (who died at the end of our campaign, he killed her on accident because she got turned into a werewolf ◎﹏◎), and a freshly turned crazy gremlin of a vampire with a pet turtle.

Her main flaw is that if her hunger gets too low, she starts bleeding from every possible place on her body. Eyes, nose, mouth, ears, other places. It's called stigmata. Since her main method of feeding is by seducing her prey, it's hard for her to get them to agree when she's in that state. She used hypnosis the one time it happened during our campaign and accidentally bled the guy dry and had to cover up his death with the crazy one. She had a good thing going with one of her prey, a 40 something art gallery manager MILF, but due to an unforseen circumstance relating to the coterie's infamy (someone doing something using their name and framing them for it), had to leave in the middle of the night. She left a note on the table for her, but my poor Sylvia accidentally lost the baddie of the century that night (it was Sylvia's apartment).

Sylvia is a lesbian but will take men as prey if it's easier. She just doesn't sleep with them. Sex is weird in VTM, so she's just a service top.

She has a ghoul (basically a mind slave that is half alive half dead). This was not the plan, it just happened. Alex (the crazy one) and her had this girl as a hostage, because she was a vampire hunter. Alex, being Alex, got pissed when she wasn't answering questions and made her bite her own tongue off using their own mind control powers (Sylvia's are more persuasion, Alex's are more actual mind control), and because we couldn't just let her die, Sylvia made this girl drink HER blood and turned her into a ghoul, saving her. Her name is Samantha. She can't speak anymore, but Sylvia likes the company anyway.

If Sylvia sees something ugly, she WILL throw up. She has a stalker, but she was never able to figure out who. She has issues with her Sire because he's a deadbeat. Her blood-sister (same sire) basically "raised" her into vampire society. She has an actual twin sister. She's an art school dropout (too many restrictions for her creative liking, and also too expensive). She was Catholic before she got turned, and that is very much a core part of her character (old habits die hard, I was raised Catholic, I get it). Her strength stat is 1, charisma is 4 (our of 5). Uhhh. That's all I can think of.

I love her. Gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss for real. She's a bitch and I love her for that.
