EEE I'm actually so excited this is happening. I get to combine two of my favourite things: FriendRewind & READING. And I am honestly obsessed with that for all of us

Since it seems like we're leaning toward picking our own books, I was thinking we could keep the club pretty casual and use it mostly for motivation + accountability + making friends! I want this to feel like a space we all feel happy and comfortable in. A safe place. Let build this group together, that way it will feel more special.
A few little ideas for our little bookclub backbone (open to suggestions + ideas ☺):
✨Pick a book from your TBR (or we could choose a genre/theme for the month and pick our readings from there).
💗Set your own little reading goal each week - maybe a chapter, a few pages, or whatever feels doable. Share your goal with the group so we can cheer each other on!
✨Check in with what pages or chapter(s) you got through + a few little thoughts about what you liked/didn't like.
💗Share any theories, suspicions, favourite moments, or of course the "WHAT THE F**K" moments.
✨ Share cute reading pics, your current book, reading set up, audiobook walls, etc. because obviously we need to see them!!
💗When you finish a book, we CELEBRATE that!! Give us your final thoughts + rating and let everyone hype you up!
And MOST IMPORTANTLY: no shame if you miss a week or fall behind. This is supposed to make reading more fun, not feel like homework or an activity you'd rather ignore. Our only goal is to make a little progress and have some fun with it.
I'd love to hear what everyone thinks and if there's anything else you'd want to add!
Alsooooo...should we keep everything in the forums, or would people want a little club group chat too?
Looking forward to hearing from everyone
