So, I don't watch a lot of horror movies, but I'm taking a horror film class right now (seems odd but I get an excuse to watch a bunch of movies I normally wouldn't) and I was curious to see what other people's favorite horror movies. What movies or even tv shows do you guys like? I'm a big fan of the Saw franchise, and others than that I've liked are Obsession, Backrooms, Night of the Living Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scream, and Picnic at Hanging Rock.
nice choices! especially Scream and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre for me; these were the movies that made me fall in love with the horror genre.
as for my favorites, the list goes:
1. Jacob's Ladder [1990] - this movie set my taste for what i personally like in horror, not to mention it inspired the Silent Hill franchise.
2. Perfect Blue - yeah i love Satoshi Kon.
3. [REC] - while many people i've met disliked it, it's my favorite ff horror movie and really fun to watch with friends!
