Red, White & Real (RWaR)'s Interests

General	Writing, classic sci-fi, history, and the rarity that is political discussion conducted calmly, respectfully, and with logic instead of party loyalty.
Music	I listen to classics from the 70s and 80s, and I enjoy most electro swing.
Movies	Anything other than a rom-com, comedy, anime, or a badly dubbed foreign film. Pretty much action films, war movies, westerns, steampunk, sci-fi, and horror.
Television	My taste in TV is the same as my taste in movies.
Books	I'm waaaay behind on my reading list. You will find me buried deep in technical literature, though. I just got picked up Flex and Grid layouts in CSS!

Please don't believe the widely believed narrative that all Boomers are both obstinate and obtuse. As for those persons I'd like to meet, I believe they rank among the most influential people to live over the last 30-40 years. However, with the exception of Steven Spielberg and William Shatner, the motivations for their actions are at best unclear, so I'd truly like to know what drives them. If you are on Medium, then I invite you check out my article regarding the impact of prior generations on our world, especially in regard to pollution and climate change.
