I lowk dont really know why people would "larp" media nowadays. there are many archival websites for games, shows, movies, ect ect. and if youre worried about safety just like idk get the streaming service or use a google doc. it just personally dosent make sense to me, because in a way, it can end up harming real fans of media. ive been called a "larp" multiple times for watching Nekopara, Lucky Star, Dokuro-Chan ect ect when ALL of these shows can be watched on youtube easily.
