Moving to Durham tomorrow! I've been living in my parents' house, and it's going to be great to have my own place that I can decorate however I want ๐ฅณย Made a new friend through activism - I went over to their place last week and we watched Freaks, a 1930s movie that we both really enjoyed :) oh, and I madeย this tiramisu recipeย - tiramisu is their favie. I've been listening to this one while driving with the windows down, enjoying the spring coolness. It's both energetic and contemplative, and I feel a kind of informed contentment when listening to it - not ignoring the challenges in the world, but choosing to seek out the good in spite of them.
