Dude omg I lowk am so stressed rn

So last Thurs at my school the teacher was like “we r gonna write sum music buuuuuuut we r gonna use ai” and I’m lik wtf?!?!? So I told her that I didn’t want her to do that and thankfully she said that I didn’t have to do it (she also said that I had to make a song at my house r smth but I never did haha fuck u teacher).

Then our class started to have a whole debate on if ai is good or bad. Me and this other kid were arguing on the “ai is bad” side bc yk that’s what we think. And then at the end of the class convo she said “well if you want you can write an essay on ai. Some of you can use chat gpt to write it (looks over at the kids who think ai it good) and some of u can write it urself (looks at me and te other kid fighting for justice and shi)”

So I didn’t write the essay bc 1. Writers block. 2. I didn’t even really wanna write it and the only reason I wanted to is for respect and to not let my side down.

And now I’m really stressed bc tomorrow is school, and that means that if I was gonna write the essay it would have to be done tonight and it’s already around 10 40 where I am so I barley have any time to find resources (like websites or articles) and write it.

Also the thing is, the kids arguing for the wrong side will hav their “essays” (I said it in “”s bc it’s not really an essay if it’s written with ai) ready and I won’t.  

Also my mom doesn’t like me to be on the screen at night.

And also btw near the end of the convo I said smth to the teacher abt ai and she was lik “oh but Imessenges uses ai” and im like wtf no it doesn’t (correct me if I’m wrong). And when she said that she said it with a kinda smug smile on her face like she all of a sudden won the argument. Lik bro stfu.

Uhh anyways yea that’s a lot of words I put down uhhahbr I’ll try to write it tonight uhh if u have any resources (lik websites r articles) about ai and how it’s ruining the environment r making people dumber r smth then that would be amazing :D
