im going to try and convince my school (co op) to add a zine section in the library!!!

I think [my schools name] should have a shelf for Zines!

Well, first of all, what are Zines?

A Zine (short for magazine or fanzine) is a magazine that is noncommercial, often homemade and usually made by one person or a small group of people. Zines can be made for various reasons such as sharing the creator’s art, a story they made, or even just talking about a character or song they like!

Now, why should [my schools name] have a shelf for them?

I think [my schools name again] should have a shelf for Zines because then students (and teachers if they wanted) could share their art or writing!

For example: if there is a student who would like to share their writing but doesn't just want to pass around a piece of paper, then they could make a Zine to put on the shelf for people to read!

I also think it could be a great way for students to be inspired to create something of their own!

For example: if a student was reading a Zine and got inspired by some of the art in there, they might decide to create their own art!

In closing, I feel like it would be amazing for students (and teachers) to be able to share their own creations!

(I advise doing your own research (and by that, I mean looking at Wikipedia, websites, and YouTube videos) before concluding, thank you for reading!)
