I just thought of this question when I was drinking milk and remember the fact that when I was a kid, I used to think milk was just another form of water and if you drank milk and water together you'd get poisoned lmao.

As a kid, I believed the human tongue was a long rope of muscle that wound down in a spiral to the center of your body (probably where the intestines were irl). Plus I didn’t know how blood circulated through the body so I thought our organs were just soaking in oceans of human blood.
For some reason I thought the older your account was on Youtube, the more subscribers you SHOULD logically have, regardless of what you post. I thought this just should be reality. I used to be SO mad DanTDM had more subscribers than me because my first Youtube channel is slightly older than his, IIRC. I did not watch him much as a little child in part due to my frustration. I definitely watched at least one other popular channel that was newer than my own so I have no clue WHY I singled him out specifically.

I had to on purposely roll down the stairs in every new house I moved in either for good luck or to keep my streak. Which is why when people fall down stairs in movies for a long while, I didn't understand how it could be so horrible. I've done it like 7 times. (It was actually because I was clumsy and had parents that cared for me and thank goodness none of those staircases were dangerous.)
I read a book about the solar system and there was a page where it said the sun was gonna blow up. I cried to my mom because it made me so sad. She had to calm me down and say that it's not gonna happen in a million gorillion years. Then she told me to go back to sleep 😆
I measured my growth as a human being by measuring how much of the checkout counter or receptionist's desks I could see. I remember jumping to see what the cashier scanned or peeking what the receptionist was doing. Then at some point I was tall enough to see the surface. I was happy because I was growing older :)

As a kid I thought that once you became an adult that you lost your original name and got an “adult name” bc my stupid peanut brain couldn’t comprehend someone my age named “Steve” or “Karen”
Growing up I thought sports and muscle cars were the same as luxury brand cars. So when people were talking about cars like Lamborghinis I tried to be part of the conversation by showing off pictures of the Camaros my brother and grandpa owned.
I used to believe that if I turned the light on in the car that the police would pull my mom over and arrest her. I also believed that if I turned all of the lights off in my house at night, someone would come into my house.
I remember I used to think CPU players in games were always actually other irl players I was playing against, kind of like online play, except I didn't know that was a thing when I was like 4
For single-player games, for some reason, I always thought there was some alternate version of the game where you specifically only played as the "bad guy"
Like, I had Dragon Ball Z Harukanaru Densetsu on the DS as a kid, and I thought that since you fight Saibamen in the game, there was a secret alternate version of the game I didn't know about where you only play as a Saibaman that someone else in the world had and just happened to be playing against me
