Thought I'd carve out a wee spot away from social media bickering, drama, and trollishness.

And create what I hope is a nice place for the simple pleasures in life. Those wee wholesome moments that you deeply enjoy.

The smell of a good used bookstore.

Walking by the river in spring and seeing the new baby ducks that season.

The energetic feeling just before a thunderstorm breaks.

Lunch with an old friend that you haven't seen in a while.

Whatever!

What are the small 'everyday' sort of things that you cherish and make you happy?

If you have to do laundry, doing it when you don't have to worry about who else needs to use the machine, or is trying to shower, or what. Just a stupid little bit of freedom over what is otherwise a drudgery task.

A visit with a friend to sit and talk long about nothing in particular

When you shout into the void, but find there's a lot of friendly voices shouting back

Oh I love this idea for a thread! We could all deserve more wholesomeness in this world. A reminder that not everything as awful as it seems. And to put love back in, we get out what we put in. I think we make the world a better place when we are truly ourselves, happy, and kind.

- The sound of a crackling fire

- A comfort movie you've seen a hundred times

- My cats purring next to me in bed

- Hearing a good song you forgot about, bringing back memories.

- The smell of freshly brewed coffee

Everyday I wake up to my bunny sleeping near me. I love him so much, he means a lot to me. I also just enjoy doing makeup as well, that makes me happy as well ( ⸝⸝´ ᵕ `⸝⸝)

When you're worn out, and your social batteries are low, because you've been laughing too hard and too long with the company of close friends 😊

When you go to sleep, and the room is cold but your blankets are heavy and warm.....A top ten feeling for me.

When you thought it would be a tight week, but you've got the bills paid and there's still a bit left over for a few extra pleasures

Experiencing nostalgia for something you loved as a kid!
