New city - Nouvelle ville - Acquitaine

💠⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💠I'm pretty scared and excited because I have to move to a new city in France anytime soon, in Nouvelle-Acquitaine (near Bordeaux). Did anyone have advices to prepare oneself (both mentally and physically) to enter a new slice of life in a place where you have never been to and don't know anybody there ? And, more consequent question : How to reduce oneself fear of unknown when you are physically alone ?A little bit of context : 21 years old student. I graduate from my first 3 years of Psy... » Continue Reading

uhhh.. so. this morning i went to a stream on a walk with my dad, and there was a little patch of what looked like clay under this huge rock, i got SO excited because i love sculpting stuff out of clay/ spinning pots because its what i do in college. I found wild clay!! YAY!!!! ...I scooped some up with a stick and put it into a bag. I didn't notice anything weird at all. but I was questioning if this was clay or if it was just mud. so when I got home I put it into a tub and started removing any... » Continue Reading

Why Physical Media Still Means So Much to Me

Some objects quietly work their way into your life without you ever noticing. You don't feel it happening the day you buy them, or even the year after. Then one day you look around your room, see the shelves you've slowly filled over time, and realize they're telling a story. Not the story of the books, films, or albums sitting on them, but your own.I've been thinking about this a lot lately. About physical media. Books, CDs, vinyl, DVDs, even video games. It's strange that we've reached a point... » Continue Reading
