I finally watched Sinners the other day, and IT IS SO GOOD. It's visually gorgeous, and the soundtrack, alongside how it's used, are absolutely incredible. I'm a big fan of vampire media, but this film uses that idea in a way I've never seen before. Vampirism and blood-sucking as a metaphor for racism and colonialism, particularly in the context of 1930s America, is, to me, a very inventive and insightful take on the idea. Soo I wanted to do this to so I can just list out the things I need to work on! Big eye disease, often I make the eyes like way too hugs. This may be because I started out trying to draw like anime and they got some nice sparkly eyes but now I'm not but I still do giant eyes.
